SCOPE

SIMUTools 2020 is the 12th edition of the annual International Conference on Simulation Tools and Techniques. The conference focuses on a broad range of research challenges in the field of simulation, modelling and analysis, addressing current and future trends in simulation techniques, models, practices and software. The conference is dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary collaborative research in these areas and across a wide spectrum of application domains.

The conference invites submissions on the topics in all application areas of simulation. Submissions in interdisciplinary areas are especially encouraged (e.g. Smart Cities, Health, Environment, Societal Challenges, Digital Humanities, Security, IT Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Business). The conference also invites posters and technical demonstrations that report on recent results, ongoing research or industrial case studies in the area of simulation. Submissions should be in English, following the Springer formatting guidelines (see Submission).

ANOM Workshop

2ND WORKSHOP ON ADVANCES IN NETWORK OPTIMIZATION AND MANAGEMENT 

This workshop aims to identify challenges and solicit novel solutions in network optimization and management for the new software defined networking and 5G networking paradigms. Specifically, we invite original contributions that envision future directions of network optimization and management. We welcome high-quality papers containing the latest theoretical and/or experimental results. Researchers and engineers from both academia and industry are welcome to attend the workshop for discussions and idea-sharing.

Antecedentes:
La Inteligencia Artificial consta de las áreas de Visión Artificial, Procesamiento de Habla y Aprendizaje Automático (Machine Learning). Dentro de la Visión Artificial el tratamiento de imágenes actualmente se utiliza en diferentes aplicaciones, como imágenes en Medicina, para vehículos autónomos, detección de objetos y más.

Antecedentes de la disertante
Dra Marcela Riccillo Doctora en Ciencias de la Computación de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, especialista en Inteligencia Artificial y Robótica. Dicta cursos y seminarios de Robótica, como TEDxRosario y TEDxBarcelona. Tiene publicados trabajos de investigación en Inteligencia Artificial en congresos internacionales. Participó como columnista de Robótica en un programa de Radio Palermo. Lleva varios años de estudio de coreano, japonés, chino, inglés, alemán y latín. Cuenta con varios años de experiencia en empresas e instituciones llevando a cabo proyectos de consultoría en tecnología de la información e Inteligencia Artificial aplicada a la industria. Varios años de docente en UBA. Actualmente trabaja como Profesora de Ciencia de Datos y Machine Learning en ITBA y fue jurado en el programa de TV Eureka de Canal Encuentro.
