Scope & Topics

The Microcontrollers are the devices which controls large systems. There are so much of advancements in the control engineering and also there is hype for multitasking controllers. The multitasking controllers can control various range of controllers. As smart city needs too many systems and its control using a central device called a Central Server. Most applications in the smart city paradigm need to be an integrated system. The end user is in need of control over wide range of systems with advanced controllers. Finally, in order to meet the controlling station requirements in a smart city aspect, every interested person needs knowledge of smart devices, advanced controllers etc.

This book provides basic knowledge of advanced controllers associated with the large systems and devices. Also, it describes the potential application, thrust areas of Industry 4.0 along with controlling application with microcontrollers. The book determines the feasibility of the advanced controllers in the Industry 4.0 perspective The Industry 4.0 is strongly associated with Integrated Internet of Things (IIoT) when developing larger smart cities. Topics include:

  • A Cyber-Physical Infrastructure for the “Smart City”
  • Developing a Robust and Responsive Sensor Network
  • Computing, Big Data, and Analytics. Green Computing
  • Advanced Sustainable Buildings and the Smart Grid
  • Optimizing Building Energy Efficiency
  • Enhancing Energy Efficiency for Urban Housing
  • High-Performance Networking
  • Sustainable Environment
  • Controllers used in Health Care
  • Lost and Unaccounted Natural Gas
  • Enhancing Sleep Quality with the Blue-Spectrum Light
