The 2014 2nd International Symposium on Computational and Business
Intelligence (ISCBI-II 2014). The Symposium will be held in New Delhi,
India during December 7-8, 2014. The aim as well as objective of
ISCBI-II 2014 is to present the latest research and results of
scientists working in the fields related to Computational and Business
Intelligence. This Symposium provides opportunities for the delegates
to exchange new ideas and application through face-to-face
discussions, to establish business or research relations and to find
global partners for future collaborations. We hope that the outcome of
ISCBI14 will yield significant contribution to the knowledge in the
emerging areas of Computational & Business Intelligence.
ISCBI14 is organized by the International Neural Network Society
(INNS) India Regional Chapter and is theflagship event of INNS-India.
After the immensely successful ISCBI13, the proceedings of which was
uploaded at IEEE Xplore, ISCBI-II 2014 is expected to be more
exciting, stimulating & educative. The intention is to establish an
effective platform for institutions and industries to share ideas and
to present the works of scientists, engineers, educators and students
across the globe. The organizing committee of Symposium is pleased to
invite prospective authors to submit their original manuscripts for
possible presentation at ISCBI-II 2014.
The topics of ISCBI-II 2014 will cover all areas encompassing
Computational and Business Intelligence. All papers will be reviewed
by two or three experts from the IPC. After a careful reviewing
process, all accepted papers after proper registration and
presentation, will be published in the conference Proceedings by
Conference Publishing Services (CPS).

ECMLPKDD 2015
May 17th, 2014 CI2S Enterprise Content Admin ECMLPKDD 2015, the European Conference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Databases, continues the journal track started at ECMLPKDD 2013 in collaboration with the Springer journals “Machine Learning” and “Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery” (http://www.ecmlpkdd2015.org/)
The journal track invites high-quality submissions that present original work in the areas of data mining and machine learning. Accepted papers will be published in the respective journal and, moreover, a presentation slot at the ECMLPKDD 2015 conference will be offered to the authors. However, given the special nature of the ECMLPKDD 2015 journal track, only papers that naturally lend themselves to conference talks will be considered. For instance, neither journal versions of previously published conference papers nor survey papers will be considered for the special issue.
Papers submitted to the journal track are supposed to handled fast, with an overall turn-around time of 8 weeks. Yet, due to possible delays or the need for revisions, inclusion of accepted papers in the 2015 edition cannot be guaranteed, especially for papers submitted after February.
Nevertheless, such papers can be published in regular issues of the respective journal, or can be considered for ECMLPKDD 2016.

9th International Joint Conference on Software Technologies – ICSOFT 2014
May 17th, 2014 CI2S Enterprise Content Admin The 9th International Joint Conference on Software Technologies – ICSOFT 2014 (http://www.icsoft.org) will hold a Doctoral Consortium on Software Technologies providing an opportunity for graduate students to explore their research interests in an interdisciplinary workshop, under the guidance of a panel of distinguished experts in the field.
The Doctoral Consortium on Software Technologies is intended to bring together Ph.D. students within the software technologies field to discuss their research in an international forum. The Doctoral Consortium will provide students with an opportunity to:
– Present their research work in a relaxed and supportive environment;
– Receive feedback and suggestions from peers and experienced faculty;
– Gain an overview of the breadth and depth of Software Technologies;
– Obtain insight into directions for software technologies research taken by other doctoral candidates;
– Discuss concerns about research, supervision, the job market, and other issues;
– Network with peers and future colleagues
The paper that a PhD student can submit until June 25 needs to be written in a specific format, appropriate for facilitating the aforementioned discussion; therefore it is expected to be a much simpler paper and definitely not a regular paper.
There will be a review and selection process and the accepted papers will be included in the CD-ROM that also includes the proceedings of the conference. Additionally, the papers of the Doctoral Consortium presented at the venue will also be included in the SCITEPRESS Digital Library. However, they will not be included in the book of proceedings as archival publications therefore they will remain free of copyright and the registration will be a “student registration”.
