Student Poster Abstract Submission Deadline Has Been Extended to March 11th

The ASEE Zone 1 Conference undergraduate and graduate students to submit a poster to the Student Projects Posters Competition. Posters will be presented by students and judged during the Conference on Friday, April 4, 2014, starting at 11:00 am. The poster awards will be announced at the Conference banquet on Friday, April 4, 2014. The ASEE, the University of Bridgeport and industry partners will sponsor several monetary awards for the highest ranking, presented posters.

IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES

  • March 7, 2014: March 11, 2014: Poster abstract submission deadline
  • March 13, 2014: March 16, 2014: Notification of poster acceptance
  • March 21, 2014: Final poster and student registration due
  • April 4, 2014: Poster presentation

Extended Deadline: Awards and Medals Competition

The Global Development Network  (GDN) is pleased to announce that in consideration of the demand of the applicants, the deadline for submitting applications to the 2013-14Global Development Awards and Medals Competition has been extended to 20 March, 2014. Researchers and practitioners from developing countries can now submit their development projects proposals, research proposals and completed research papers by 20 March, 2014.

About the Competition

  • AMC Categories:
  1. Japanese Award for Most Innovative Development Project (MIDP): for development project proposals
  2. Japanese Award for Outstanding Research on Development (ORD): for research proposals
  3. Medals for Research on Development (Medals): for completed research papers
  • Theme: Structural Transformation in Africa and Beyond
  • Extended Deadline: 20 March 2014 (Indian Standard Time 6:00 PM)
  • Prizes: Awards of up to USD 30,000 and travel grants to prize distribution ceremony
