16th Latin American Symposium on Mathematical Logic
XVI SLALM- Simposio Latinoamericano de Lógica Matemática.
Buenos Aires- Argentina
28th July- 1st August 2014

You are cordially invited to participate in the 16th Latin-American
Symposium on Mathematical Logic that will take place in Buenos Aires,
Argentina, from July the 28th to August the 1st.

It will include four tutorial courses in Model Theory, Computability
Theory, Set Theory and Non-classical Logic. About a hundred researchers
and students from Latin-America and other continents will participate in
the meeting.

The Symposium have the scientific sponsorship of the Association for
Symbolic Logic.

IEEE ICCI*CC’14: Deadline Extended to April 1 – 13th IEEE Cogn itive Informatics & Cognitive Computing

Upon many requests, the deadline for paper submission to IEEE ICCI’CC’14
has been extended to April 1, 2014
(http://www.ucalgary.ca/icci_cc/ICCICC2014).

The Proceedings of ICCI*CC’14 will be published by IEEE CS Press. Papers
accepted in ICCI*CC’14 will be indexed by EI. SCI index is under
discussion. Extended versions of selected papers will be published in
several EI or SCI indexed journals.

Full papers are expected to be around 5-8 pages in IEEE double column
format. Short papers (3-4 pages) that report industrial experience, case
studies, work in progress, or graduate students’ research are also

The 2014 IEEE Colombian Conference on Communications and Computing (COLCOM 2014) aims to show the progress and development of the academic, scientific and industrial usage of the different areas of telecommunications and computing. In this version, the main subject is “Internet of Things: Enabler of new ICT Markets” and how communications and computing fields can support this concept.
We encourage the submission of original, unpublished research focused on (but not limited to) the following topics of interest:
