COMSNETS 2020 Graduate Forum is a supportive environment for students in graduate programs (Master’s & Ph.D.) to showcase early stage research in areas related to communications, systems and networking at COMSNETS, the premier conference that brings together networking researchers from both academia and the industry. COMSNETS 2020 Graduate Forum will provide students with useful feedback on their current research as well as future research directions from experienced researchers, and the opportunity to interact with eminent researchers from both academia and industry. All submissions will receive detailed reviews from the review committee. Accepted submissions will be published in the conference proceedings (unless the author requires otherwise). There will be a best presenter award (certificate and prize) based on the feedback received from the evaluation committee.
Who can submit?
To be eligible to submit your work to the Graduate Forum, you must be registered as a Ph.D. or Master’s student at the time of submission.
What to submit?

We encourage the authors to submit their proposals that overlaps the topics (but are not limited to) of interest at COMSNETS with the following as a single PDF file at EDAS (https://edas.info/N26253) containing:
•Resume, a one page resume informing your current position, broad area of research, internship experiences, publications (if any), etc.
•Abstract, a three page extended abstract explaining the problem statement, relevant state-of-the-art, proposed solution approach, preliminary results, and future work. Submissions must be written in IEEE two column format and should adhere to the submission guidelines of the COMSNETS.
•Presentation, 8-10 slides for a ten minutes talk.
It is suggested that the prospective authors should merge all of the above submission files into a single PDF document and upload the PDF file at EDAS (https://edas.info/N26253).

Smart systems including Internet of Things (IoT) are emerged to address
contemporary economic, societal, and environmental challenges, such as
business and production automation, urban sustainability, climate change,
 healthcare, and globalization. They encompass different autonomous or
collaborative systems with functions of sensing, actuation, and control
for describing and analyzing a situation, and making decisions based on
the available data in a predictive or adaptive manner. Intelligent
networking enables these functions of smart systems by offering a global
infrastructure for networked physical devices and everyday objects,
which generate gigantic amount of data, or big data. In addition, big
data analytics is also employed in analyzing the big data so as to
enable the networking to be intelligent and allow smart systems to
perform astute, autonomous or collaborative actions. Nevertheless, the
efficient and effective big data management and knowledge discovery of
large-scale smart systems, big data analytics for intelligent networking,
 and networking technologies for big data (e.g., collection, processing,
analysis and visualization) need more explorations.

Submission Guidelines:
Prospective authors are invited to submit their manuscripts
electronically, adhering to the IEEE Transactions on Network Science and
Engineering guidelines. Note that the page limit is the same as that of
regular papers. Please submit your papers through the online system
(https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/tnse-cs) and be sure to select the
special issue or special section name. Manuscripts should not be
published or currently submitted for publication elsewhere. Please
submit only full papers intended for review, not abstracts, to the
