LLAMADO A PRESENTACIÓN DE TRABAJOS 29º Congreso Argentino de Control Automático
Tenemos el agrado de invitarlos a la vigesimonovena edición del Congreso Argentino de Control Automático AADECA 2025, que se realizará desde el martes 8 al jueves 10 de abril de 2025 en la Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. Este evento reúne cada dos años a académicos, estudiantes, profesionales y especialistas de la automatización, el control automático y la instrumentación, cubriendo ampliamente todos los aspectos, tanto de investigación aplicada como teórica. La Comisión de Programación de este Congreso se propone, entre otros objetivos, exponer en el medio nacional los resultados de las investigaciones y desarrollos en las áreas de la automatización, el control y la instrumentación y, paralelamente, estimular el avance e intercambio de conocimientos y experiencias. Se esperan para este 29º Congreso Argentino de Control Automático los siguientes tipos de trabajos:
Invitamos a quienes nos acompañan congreso tras congreso y a todos aquellos interesados en la Automatización y el Control Automático a sumarse a este evento ya sea participando en la organización como en la presentación de trabajos. Se invita a profesionales, académicos, estudiantes y especialistas a presentar trabajos, entre otras, en las siguientes líneas temáticas:

La evaluación de los trabajos propuestos para el 29º Congreso Argentino de Control Automático se realizará sobre el “Trabajo Completo versión Preliminar”, que deberá remitirse a través del link que oportunamente estará disponible en nuestro sitio web. En la próxima circular se darán las pautas que debe reunir la presentación del trabajo en cuanto a formato, tipografía, cantidad de páginas, etc. El idioma oficial del Congreso es el español. Los trabajos para evaluación pueden estar escritos en inglés o español. El envío de trabajos se hará a través de la plataforma Microsoft CMT. El link para el envío de trabajos se habilitará oportunamente. Todos los artículos aceptados serán publicados en las actas del Congreso (formato digital). Los autores de trabajos de tipo Académico en idioma inglés que hayan tenido una evaluación aceptable (según criterio de la comisión de programación) de 3 o más revisores podrán optar por publicar su artículo en la plataforma IEEEXplore (con costo adicional) o en ISA transactions (sin costo adicional).

ACM SIGGRAPH European Conference on Visual Media Production
For over two decades, CVMP has built a reputation as the prime venue for researchers to meet with practitioners in the Creative Industries: film, broadcast and games. The Conference brings together expertise in video processing, computer vision, computer graphics, animation and physical simulation. It provides a forum for the presentation of the latest research and application advances, combined with keynote and invited talks on state-of-the-art industry practice. CVMP regularly attracts over 100 attendees approximately 50:50 from academia and the creative industries.
CVMP 2024: 18–19 November 2024
CVMP is planned to take place physically at the BFI Southbank in London on 18–19 November 2024. Please check our website https://cvmp-conference.org/ and follow @CVMP on twitter for the latest updates. Proceedings of the Full Papers will appear in the ACM Digital Library.
We encourage participation from a diverse range of backgrounds, including scientists, engineers, artists, and producers, to contribute inspiring papers, presentations, posters, and technical abstracts. We invite submissions to the conference on any topic that demonstrates an impact on visual media production, animation, and interactive content creation and experiences. This year there is an additional focus on Foundation Models and LLMs across the Creative Industries. We hope contributions will convey innovative ideas, technical details, and insight or experience into theory and/or practice.
Full Papers: We invite submissions of regular, technical papers presenting novel research or applications related to any aspect of media production, including computer vision, graphics and machine learning research with application in this area. We particularly encourage the submission of early-stage doctoral work. Submitted papers can be any length up to 10 pages and will be subject to double-blind peer review. Accepted papers will be presented in either oral or poster form, and will appear in the ACM Digital Library (subject to ACM approval). Browse past CVMP papers in the ACM Digital Library.
Short Papers and Technical Abstracts: Submissions are invited in the form of a one-page extended abstract, describing innovative industry practice or academic research. Submissions can also describe work in progress and do not prevent submission of the work elsewhere. Accepted submissions will be presented in poster form at the conference, and will not appear in the ACM Digital Library.
Demos: The demos programme promotes applied research and applications to facilitate collaborations between industrial and academic members of the media production community. Demos do not have to be related to full or short papers accepted at CVMP but should have the form of live demonstrations of media production methods and/or their applications. A one-page extended abstract should be submitted describing the content of the demonstration and an overview of the approach.
Industry Talks: We invite submissions for industry talks showcasing innovative ideas and practice. These should be submitted in the form of a one-page extended abstract describing the proposed talk. Talks will take a similar form to submissions for talks at SIGGRAPH and FMX, and can be talks that have already been presented at other venues.

IJOSSP is a full gold open access (OA) publication and as such all of its published research is fully accessible to the research community without any paywalls, barriers, or restrictions of any kind. This creates tremendous opportunities for authors to benefit from increased visibility and citation impact for their work as OA papers are 2-3 times more likely to be read than non-OA papers, and download rates are generally 89% higher, significantly increasing citations and indexing potential. Additionally, the copyright of the published work is retained by the article authors so they are able to reprint, reuse, etc. the work however they like. Also, articles are published rapidly, in some cases moving from submission to publication in as little as 30-60 days, while benefiting from a robust review process.
In order to offset the costs of all of the activities associated with the OA publication of article manuscripts, including the digital tools used to support the management and review process, the typesetting, formatting and layout, online hosting, the submission of the journal’s content to numerous abstracts, directories, and indexes, third-party software, editorial support which includes communications and submission guideline checks, all promotional support and activities, and the fact that all published articles will be freely accessible and able to be posted and disseminated widely by the authors, there is a small article processing charge (APC) requested to be paid by the authors only if their work is accepted following the completion of the double-blind peer review process.
