Paper Invitation for Special Issue “Recent Techniques in Image Feature Extraction”

=======================================================================================================

Dear colleague,

We are preparing a Special Issue entitled “Recent Techniques in Image Feature Extraction” in collaboration with “Journal of Imaging” (MDPI). In this regard, we would be very pleased if you would agree to contribute a research paper, or focused review to this Special Issue. The deadline for submission is *31 December 2024*.

As you are an excellent scholar in this field, we intend to publish your manuscript as an invited 'Featured Article' for J. Imaging, which means that your submission will be handled on a priority basis and may be chosen as the cover story of the forthcoming Special Issue.

If you would like to contribute, please send an e-mail to the J. Imaging Editorial Office (poungto@mdpi.com) within two weeks. All submissions are peer-reviewed, and accepted papers will be published immediately.

More information regarding this Special Issue can be found at:

https://www.mdpi.com/journal/jimaging/special_issues/50VBWO1JTG

Manuscripts can be submitted at:

https://susy.mdpi.com/user/manuscripts/upload?form[journal_id]=203&form[special_issue_id]=205450

Benefits when publishing with J. Imaging:
1. Open access, with no copyright constraints;
2. High visibility: J. Imaging is indexed by ESCI, PubMed, Scopus and its first impact factor is 3.2;
3. Rapid publication times upon acceptance;

Currently, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of CHF 1800 applies to papers accepted after peer review, independent of length, number of figures, or colors. A 10-20% discount will be granted to authors/co-authors affiliated with institutes belonging to MDPI's Institutional Open Access Program (IOAP, https://www.mdpi.com/about/ioap). Also, if you have difficulties in supporting the APC, please feel free to contact us.

We hope you find this topic of interest. We would highly appreciate it if you could forward this to your team members and colleagues who may also be interested in the topic. Should you have any questions or if you would like to discuss topic ideas, please do not hesitate to contact us.
